MTG Studio Ginrei Muscle Back

The Ginrei irons come from the same forging die as the Itobori irons and are identical
until they are manually processed by Master Takai-san himself.

In contrast to the Itobori technique, the Ginrei irons have a traditional, smooth sole grind.
The specialty of the Ginrei iron is the subsequent rework of the material by another
manual forging process.

This technique creates the inimitable ginrei look, which is based on traditional Japanese
knife and sword making techniques (e.g. Gyuta, Santoku, Bunka, etc.).
