Description
A forged cavity iron combining a high trajectory with a strong, stable ball flight. The Z3 CBI is manufactured from S20C mild steel and features four interchangeable weights split between heel and toe. More importantly, the depth of the corresponding weight cavities changes progressively throughout the set.
In the long irons, AXIS removes more material from the toe; in the shorter irons more material is removed towards the heel. This allows the centre of gravity to evolve with the club number instead of remaining in exactly the same position throughout the set. The cavity enlarges the effective hitting area and reduces distance loss on imperfect strikes, while additional thickness behind the centre of the face maintains the solid sensation expected from a forged iron.
