Description
The Type S got an update. As with all Takumi Japan’s club heads, this models is also
forged from a single piece of S25C mild carbon steel.
This ensures an uninterrupted metal, crystalline structure, which improves the feel and
control while striking the ball.
The TJ Type S2 is a two stage cavity construction. The design has been made with CAE
(computer aided engineering) optimisation, to improve the centre of gravity throughout
the various club numbers.
A pre-worn leading edge is added (as with all of the Takumi Japan Irons) to improve the
turf interaction when swinging steep into the ball.
Though the head is slightly bigger, the appearance is very sporty and suits the low
handicapper as well as mid-handicappers.
