Description
The Type N Wedge is CNC machined on the back face after forging compared to traditional Takumi Japan Wedges. This is to achieve a higher centre of gravity and enlarge the sweet spot.
Furthermore, the club blade of the Type N is the largest of all Takumi wedges, in order to offer a lot of support to the less advanced players. The face progression on this wedge helps as well, providing a solid ball contact (Goose Neck Shape).
A higher centre of gravity on a wedge enables the player to get the ball into the air more easily and also generates a lot of spin.
The leading edge of the club is more rounded on the vintage wedges, so that it goes through rough or sand with less effort.
The most elaborate wedge from Takumi Japan.
