The more forgiving partner to the Z2 MBI. The cavity-back construction shifts additional mass towards the perimeter to increase stability while retaining the soft impact feel of an S20C forged head. A comparatively wide sole, increased bounce and AXIS’s three-surface sole design reduce the tendency for the leading edge to dig into the ground.
The stronger loft progression, deeper centre of gravity and cavity construction are designed to create both distance and a sufficiently high launch. Four interchangeable back weights allow further adjustment to head balance and centre-of-gravity position. A forgiving forged iron without the oversized appearance normally associated with the game- improvement category.
