The evolution of the AXIS muscle back. The Z4 TOUR MB is a straight-neck forged blade created for the golfer who wants to control trajectory and distance through technique rather than technology doing the work for him. AXIS places particular emphasis on vertical distance control and workability.
The compact forged head allows the player to vary trajectory, curve and spin while maintaining a clean, traditional appearance at address. The forging is subjected to an annealing process which, according to AXIS, reduces hardness by approximately 15 percent compared with its previous muscle-back construction. The intention is an even softer sensation at impact.
Four removable weights add a very modern fitting feature to an otherwise classical forged blade.
