Tour performance made slightly easier to access. The Z5 TOUR WEDGE uses a semi-wide sole which offers more effective support through the turf than the original Z1 Tour-Spec design. AXIS positions the centre of gravity comparatively high to maintain strong spin generation, including on shorter approach shots.
Extensive heel relief reduces resistance when the face is opened and prevents the leading edge from rising excessively from the ground. The result is a wedge that can support the player on conventional shots while still providing the freedom required for more technical approaches around the green. The Z5 is precision forged from S25C, CNC finished in Japan and fitted with four interchangeable weights.
It is also a proven competition model: AXIS-supported tour professionals have used the Z5 in professional events, including custom versions for major-championship conditions.
